Establishing Sub-Groups

Sub-groups can be established however you desire and can be nested to any reasonable level.  Many like to have sub-groups for Employees and Administrators so you could have a structure like this:

  • Organization Group
    • Employee – Employee and Refresher Training Courses
    • Administrator – Administrator and Refresher Training Courses
    • New Hire – New Hire Course

Another popular option is to establish sub-groups for each subsidiary along with specific training.  Such as the following:

  • Corporate Headquarters
    • East Coase Operations
      • Employee – Employee and Refresher Training Courses
      • Administrator – Administrator and Refresher Training Courses
      • New Hire – New Hire Course
    • West Coast Operations
      • Employee – Employee and Refresher Training Courses
      • Administrator – Administrator and Refresher Training Courses
      • New Hire – New Hire Course

Currently, Excelerate will need to establish your sub-groups.  We are working to provide this management to you but, for now, Excelerate must setup your sub-groups.  Please provide the following information to establish your sub-groups:

  1. Desired subgroup structure names
  2. Allocated number of seats for each subgroup

Note:  Seats don’t automatically get allocated from the main group to a sub-group when a user is added.  You will need to let us know how many seats you want moved from the main group allocation to the sub-group so you can add users.  Seems like an easy function to add but the plugin developer tells us otherwise.
